"Iridescent" means luminous colors that seem to change when seen from different angles. The painting is painted in a way that you could place it in whichever orientation and it will look different and new. This symbolizes hope in humankind. In a world of change and chaos, hope can only come through our situation when you view it from a positive angle.
This painting starts from the bottom left portion of the piece, you will see an odd, rocky, and pebbly patch. it represents the beginning of the Pandemic when we were inevitably plunged into a strange setting and way of living; an unfamiliar and bumpy road. The painting then goes up to a sea of loud reds and blues. these strong colours mirror our constant fears, anger, and depression. An upside-down spear is embedded within these reds and blues, it depicts the adversary's spear. However note that the spear is upside down, illustrating that these fiery oppositions have no hold against us.
As we move to the right side of this painting, more vibrant colors are revealed. The juxtaposition of fiery hues and softer tones signifies a transition from the abysses to seeing the rainbow in our lives - a reminder to the audience to always have a confident expectation of good and courage.
