Acrylic on Linen
The first time I stepped into the Boardroom, I knew I wanted to create an artwork that one can ponder upon, a "thinking" piece. A multi-textural art that brings new discoveries each time someone looks at it. Using mainly squeegee techniques, the tools utilised consist of many household items - window cleaners, dough cutters, homemade large acrylic squeegees, cement trowels, and scrapers.
Blurs and strokes, faints and solids. Contrasts and dilutions. There are no rules. By following a set of rules, does it guarantee the results? In corporate, thinking out of the box is crucial for reinvention and continuity. Life is such too, reality and illusions are often intertwined. Our world does not need to be structured or so-called "balanced" to make sense. nothing is ever balanced. Art mimics life too; whatever resonates, speaks. Whatever speaks, stays.
